Happy Birthday Shaziye

Happiest birthday to one of my favourite people, easily top 3. Possibly even top 1, but only because it's your birthday and I'm feeling generous.

Remember that time we went around the server asking everyone for their top 3 people, and I picked three other people, which you called me out on, well that was obviously because it would've been a bit weird if I'd just picked you three times.

But today it's your birthday, which means I get to make up the rules. And so I can pick you As many times as I want.

And lets be real, your "pick-me" self is going to enjoy every second of it anyways. You're welcome. But yeah... You obviously are my favourite person in this server

You really are my favourite person, even when you're trying to annoy me, tease me, ragebait me, lie about my collars looking bad, or put me in the absolutely uncomfortable situations. And Imma be honest. I prefer you this way. The unapologetic version of yourself. The one who doesn't need to change herself to please others.

Because that's what real friendship is. It isn't blindly agreeing with each other or forcing yourself to be nice all the time. It's being honest, calling each other out on their nonsense, and still showing care in your own way. Sharing all the things you love and you hate about the other person.

That said, in the spirit of fairness, and because I am a good friend, I feel obligated to also mention the things I hate about you too.

• I hate how socially intelligent you are. You can always recognize whenever I'm being a pick-me or fishing-for-compliments, and it is genuinely an inconvenient.
• I hate how effortlessly funny you are. That even the dumbest of things you say somehow manage to make me laugh.
• I hate how persuasive you are. How you are able to make me do the most uncomfortable of things and still make me enjoy every second of it.
• I hate how unfairly good-looking you are, which makes it impossible to make fun of your looks.
• I hate how fun you are, that I'd still pick you for my Codenames partner even knowing fully well how bad we'd lose.
• And I hate how easily you're able to corrupt me into helping you ruin the count for everyone in timeloop, and enjoy myself doing it.

Though in all seriousness, and not to glaze you too hard, but you are genuinely one of the most funniest, caring, and intelligent people I know. Even when you go out of your way to pretend otherwise.

I hope this birthday, and every single one after it, brings you everything you deserve. Which, for the record, is a lot.
